Is there not one of us who has not wondered from whence we came, what is our purpose being here, and where do we go when we leave after our last breath?

To answer these questions, was my goal in Medicine, Metaphysics and Miracles, and to explain how I arrived at the conclusion:

that we are here for "training days," and it is, for all practical purposes, a never-ending story. It was my conclusion in MMM that the plan for each incarnation is written, by us (with the help of spiritual guides) in the spiritual world, and in minute detail. Eventually, we are born again into the light to experience the lessons which lead to purification of the spirit and  polish of the soul. Eventually, we learn unconditional love and move on to the role as spirit guides where we instruct and continue to learn.

When I first encountered the Seth books by Jane Roberts, I found them interesting, but learned very little until I read her book The Education of Oversoul Seven and the sequel, The Further Education of Oversoul Seven. Just like the series, Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East, I thought on first read, that the oversoul seven books were fiction . . . until a light came on!

I studied dreams for some time, trying to invent a device that would induce lucid dreams, but time constraints prevented success. Now, the Dreamlight, by Stephen LaBerge ,is available and is a great device to begin to experience the world of lucid dreaming.

But these dreams . . .are they glimpses of our future or, as Fox Mulder put it, "Answers to questions that we not yet learned how to ask"?

The question of what is real and what is illusion has perplexed us, stirred us to cogitate and dream about the subject. Do our senses show us what springs to existence moment by moment as our consciousness directs? That is, is there a quantum-level explanation to consciousness and reality? I hope to develop this idea shortly and present to you my explanation about "reality."

Getting started

There is something significant tied into our existence: We may not last forever and ever.

Our Sun will, in another 5 billion years of so, become a Red Giant similar to Betelgeuse (in the constellation Orion some 600 light years away) and expand to the current orbit of Jupiter, incinerating everything it encounters, then shrinking to a white dwarf and eventually . . . winking out of existence. When that happens, the question will be if our eternal souls continue in other or parallel universes?

Not yet knowing the answer, it is good advice to make hay while the Sun shines and get the most out of every moment, each and every day, as this is the path . . . everyday life.

The questions I will  partially answer will be:

1.) How was our universe formed and was there divine intervention (intelligent design) or was it a matter of physical constants being just right to allow it to happen?

2.) Was there "time" before the Big Bang? Put another way, "Was there a universe before the present universe?

3.) Are there parallel universes? Do we travel between them whenever we have to make a decision?

4.) What is consciousness and is it a power that creates our own realities?

5.) Is the acceleration of the expansion of the universe correlated with emergence of human consciousness?

6.) Do dark energy and dark matter really matter to us?

7.) And the most important question perhaps, "Is there a God?"

The reason for the discourses which follow, will be to allow me to formulate opinions for a sequel to MMM:

This is intended for a general audience, not for scientists, and I hope the writing will be such that if I can understand the concepts . . . so will you.

Stay tuned, thenew year is nigh and it is nigh time to consider how it works, how to improve ourselves and how to arrive at a peaceful situation, if not on Earth, at least within ourselves.

Let's see if we can "shed some light" on the origin of everything!

Recent events at TBD.com (forums in Spirituality and Consciousness) have made me rethink my plan to write about universal energy and healing.

So, it caused me to stop, ponder the matter:

I may leave Qi Gong and acupuncture up to you and consider moving on to Consciousness and Cosmogony as it appears that a great many people are interested in these topics, the act of giving and the existence or non-existence of free will.

For now, this intro may suffice.

Spirit Space

I will try to start at the begining with my thoughts on cosmogony and going into some depth before taking on the difficult task of consciousness.
