Well, to be vaccinated or not is a choice, as per my last blog, that you will have to make. But what if you become ill, then do the antivirals work?

Interestingly, a friend mentioned that he started his teenage daughter right away on such medications when she became ill. She recovered in a speedy fashion. For those who are not opposed to such medications, this is the latest recommendation:

I would say that this is entirely accurate from what I have read. Something to keep in mind along with frequent hand washing, healthy diet and lifestyle to keep the immune system up, and avoidance of being in the line of cough, etc.

A Reminder if forced to take the flu shot!

It is something to keep in mind for those who want to avoid any type of flue vaccine shot and many of my other blogs address both sides of the flu-shot issue. However, NY may have ducked the bullet of forced vaccinations.

In order to know what to do (especially for your children), you must look at both sides of the argument. I have presently mostly facts from the standpoint of the H1N1 vaccine not being a very good thing to accept.

To decide, one must be objective, weigh the evidence from both sides, and then decide what to accept that is beyond a reasonable doubt.
